Heiko Balster is a designer with a focus on furniture and tabletop products. He sees the ‘the table’ as the social midpoint of the household and aims to contribute to this domain with challenging designs. Within his practice he gets interested there where concepts get beyond the common, there where technics reach their boundaries and there where crafts meet high-tech. His work has been internationally recognized, rewarded and enjoyed and is part of the permanent collections of several leading museums.
